Guizhou is a mountainous province in southwest China. It’s known for its traditional rural villages, inhabited by minority groups like the Miao and Dong. It’s also famed for its 74m-high Huangguoshu Waterfall. Nearby, Dragon Palace Cave is an extensive underground system with waterways. This project was a school revitalization landscape project. The Landscape concept is The Circle of Life to reconnect all functional areas and maximized the function of the open spaces at this school. Allows multiple spaces with seasonal multiple functions and activity areas. For the plaza's main entrance was enhanced to give more grand and direct visuals to the school's building. Some open spaces were maximized with interactive land groundworks and to increase open space, lawn, and seating areas. Creating comfortable micro-climate by rejuvenating the planting area and add more trees that provide shades that allow students and teacher to do an outdoor exploration.
