Who We Are
CONIFER is a contemporary design studio dedicated to the field of landscape architecture and landscape planning. The practice is grounded in preserving the unique character of green spaces while advancing design responses that reflect the culture, climate, and context of each place.
Each project begins with listening to land, climate, culture, and community. This research-informed approach allows CONIFER to shape environments that are precise, restrained, and enduring.
Led by a team of landscape architects, CONIFER works across residential, hospitality, mixed-use, public realm, and large-scale urban projects. The studio is involved from concept development through schematic design, design development, and detailed documentation, ensuring design intent is clearly articulated and technically robust.
Conifer’s landscapes are defined by strong spatial organization, resilient planting strategies, and integrated sustainable systems. Conceived as living systems, these environments are designed to evolve over time—bringing people back into relationship with nature while supporting long-term ecological performance.
Design is understood not only by how a place looks, but by how it feels and how it stays with you long after you leave.
Projects
The projects developed by CONIFER contribute to contemporary landscape design through close collaboration with architects, planners, and multidisciplinary consultants. They are distinguished by clarity, restraint, and a context-driven approach. Combining contemporary spatial thinking, environmentally responsible strategies, and respect for place, each project reflects the character of its location, shaping landscapes that feel grounded, purposeful, and enduring. The studio’s versatility allows it to operate across a wide range of scales and typologies, from intimate residential environments to hospitality, mixed-use, public realm, and large-scale urban projects—always responding carefully to client objectives and site conditions.
