Leadership
CONIFER is led by Ray Agung, SP, MM, IALI (director and founder), recognized for his design vision rooted in creativity, functionality, and a strong sense of place. He is supported by a collective of talented landscape architects who bring diverse skills and perspectives to every project.
Ray earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from IPB University in 2011, marking the beginning of his professional journey, and later completed a Master’s degree in Business Management in 2021, strengthening his leadership and strategic capabilities in design practice.
Since starting his career in 2011, Ray has gained extensive international experience across regions and cultures, delivering projects at diverse scales including residential developments, resorts, villas, urban parks, mixed-use developments, retail landscapes, and theme parks. In the early years of his career, he completed an internship with Belt Collins International, before working with Townland Indonesia and later Bali Landscape Company, contributing to a wide range of residential and hospitality projects.
His leadership background includes serving as Design Manager at Site Concepts International Shanghai (an American-owned firm) from 2013 to 2016, and as Head of Landscape at Design International Shanghai (a London-based practice) from 2016 to 2019, where he directed complex commercial and entertainment landscape projects.
Building on this global experience, Ray together with his co-founder Wondo Ratmo, founded CONIFER in 2020 as a collaborative design studio that merges creativity with contextual awareness to deliver landscapes that are meaningful, memorable, and adaptable to the evolving needs of society. In an era where sustainability, wellness-focused environments, multifunctional green spaces, and experiential outdoor living are increasingly sought after, Ray and his team are committed to creating designs that not only inspire but also add lasting cultural and economic value.
His contributions to the profession were recognized with the Best Young Landscape Architect Award by the Indonesian Society of Landscape Architects (IALI) in 2022.

Pudsadee Boonsit

Pudsadee is a landscape architect with 18 years of international experience across Hong Kong, China, and Bangladesh, specializing in public spaces, mixed-use, hospitality, and large-scale master plans. She supports CONIFER’s international projects with regional design insight and cross-border collaboration across Southeast Asia.

TECHNICAL LEAD - LANDSCAPE
Febi is a landscape architect with 14 years of experience, combining strong design sensibility with technical precision and site-responsive solutions. Across residential, hospitality, and urban projects, he delivers clear, buildable documentation and reliable, refined outcomes for CONIFER.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Alfu has worked on residential and campus projects, including private villas and urban landscapes. As a senior team member, he leads design development while mentoring younger architects, ensuring CONIFER’s work balances creativity and technical excellence. -

Ayu supports CONIFER through her role in General Affairs, managing operations, resources, and internal coordination on a daily basis. Her strong organizational skills ensure the design team can remain focused on creativity and the successful delivery of projects -
