Inspired by Bontang’s natural landscape and industrial context, GP Office integrates workspace and garden into a continuous environment. Built and natural elements interlock, intentionally blurring where architecture ends and landscape begins. Courtyards, shaded seating, and open lawns recast meetings as informal gatherings and encourage employees to pause, reflect, and collaborate in settings that feel closer to a park than a conventional office.

Connections between outdoor areas are designed to be smooth, legible, and fully accessible. Cascaded pathways, terraced seating, open courtyards, and transitional landscape zones guide movement while softening visual and physical boundaries. These sequences create a sense of flow across the site rather than isolated pockets of space.

Green spaces are designed to support multiple modes of use, from quiet retreat and informal discussion to group work and large gatherings. Flexible lawns, adaptable seating, and open-ended layouts allow the landscape to evolve alongside changing work patterns, accommodating both collective activity and individual focus without rigid zoning.

Pathways, stairs, and open layouts naturally encourage walking and exploration. The boundaryless landscape draws employees to move through the site, engage with different environments, and step outside for reflection, informal brainstorming, or rest. Movement becomes part of daily work rather than a separate activity.

Transitions between architecture and landscape are deliberately softened to create spaces that feel organic and welcoming. Layered planting, varied leaf textures, and subtle water elements reduce hardness at the edges, adding sensory depth and reinforcing continuity between built form and nature.

Selected existing trees are retained to preserve ecological and cultural continuity. These elements ground the site in its history, reinforcing the relationship between progress and memory while enriching the character and long-term identity of the office landscape.
