Located in Guizhou, China. The landscape design for the Guizhou Primary School establishes a durable, inclusive outdoor learning environment that supports everyday education for all students. Responding to Guizhou’s mountainous terrain and local ecology, the campus landscape uses simple, robust landforms, native planting, and clear circulation to create safe, flexible spaces for play, teaching, and gathering. Outdoor areas are organized as practical extensions of the classroom, enabling hands-on learning, physical activity, and social development within a coherent and easily maintained framework. The project prioritizes accessibility, long-term resilience, and cost-effective construction, ensuring that the landscape serves the school community equitably and sustainably over time.
